Twilight

Well I did it I finished Twilight!! In one week 498 pages!! OMG now I know what all the fuss is about. I am offically a crazy vampire book person. I was supposed to be making my jam yesterday and I only had 2 chapters to go so yeah I put off the jam to read. But it doesn't stop there because of course now I need the next installment "New Moon"
So I load up the kids and head into Sam's (I know they are cheaper there because I have already checked) Guess what....they have "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" But no "New Moon" Might as well buy them while I'm there right?? Oh and some frozen corndogs. Cause you know I am not going to cook tonight, I have reading to do.
I sat in the parking lot trying to rack my brain about where the nearest book store is.....(cuz books has always been my favorite thing) Oh, yeah, Borders by Home Depot. You know I know where Home Depot is. I single handedly keep them in business.
I run through the front doors and it was one of those AHHHHH moments I actually thought I saw a beam of light on the display. There is was in all its glory. I was so excited I had to read the insert. I look up and oh yeah, I had Kayedin with me...Kayedin...Kayedin???? Loudly now KAYEDIN!!! I could feel the blood burning in my ears. Did you know they don't have a PA system in Borders (i knew I hadn't been in there for a reason) they only have little headphones so they can talk to the other employees like FBI agents. The cute lil 17 year old behind the desk looks at me and says "you lost your 10 year old?" Hey, it can happen!!!!! As he quietly whispers into his mic to the other agents I spot the top of her head I remembered she had a headband on all though I couldn't remember what she had on for clothes. KAYEDIN MAY CRAW GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!!! (I saud butt cuz I was in public) Of course I should have known she was looking at the teenybopper stuff in the very back of the store but, all I was focusing on was Edward and Bella.
Okay there was my bad mom moment for the day....Until I lost Kayelene in the DI 20 mins later.
Lets just say I am one of those moms who is glad school starts next week. Not so I don't have to listen to them fight or clean up after them and cook 3 meals a day....But because I know Lewiston Elementary won't lose them in Borders and the DI....Stay close Bubba your next!!!
